Smartfloc Products is the manufacturing division of Smart Utilities. Building on water-treatment chemistry, the division is developing local formulation, blending and packaging for drilling, completion and production applications, supported by qualified manufacturers and technology partners.

Regulation 10(1), read with Schedule item (m), of the Petroleum (Exploration, Development and Production) (National Content) Regulations, 2016 (S.I. No. 44 of 2016) reserves this supply category for Ugandan companies, Ugandan citizens and registered entities. Applicability depends on local availability and the procurement requirements, including NSD listing and any applicable PAU-approved exception.
